ADHESIVE WINDSCREEN GLASS TAPE SEAL
Self-adhesive windscreen tape

Self-adhesive tape for mounting windscreen glass in the inner frame. An alternative to the traditional U-shaped rubber seal, which is faster and easier to install during glass replacement.
|
Material Zelfklevend rubber |
Set contents 2 tapes (voor beide glaspanelen) |
|
Application Afdichting glas op binnenste voorruit-raam |
Original number WO-A2479 / A-2479 |
Features
- Self-adhesive design for quick installation
- Adheres around glass edge before installation
- Replacement for traditional U-shaped rubber (A2250)
- Set contains tape for both windscreen panels
- Original part number: WO-A2479
★ Easier to fit than the traditional rubber seal – adhere around the glass, install in the frame and trim excess material.
Installation notes
Adhere the tape around the glass edge before fitting. Then install the glass in the inner frame. Afterwards, trim excess tape with a sharp knife. Do not use petroleum jelly (damages rubber) – if necessary, use washing-up liquid as lubricant.
Compatibility
This is an alternative to the traditional U-shaped rubber seal (A2250 or A2479 rubber version). Both systems seal the glass to the inner windscreen frame, but the self-adhesive tape version fits more quickly. Not to be confused with the windscreen-to-cowl seal (A2476).
