The panels are fitted with 1/4 x 3/4 inch UNC round head screws and lock washers (4 pieces per side). Canvas cover is glued with contact adhesive to the underside of the metal plate and then clamped between the plate and the body. Canvas is purchased separately (see canvas crash pad set).
Compatibility
Only for Willys MB and Ford GPW with original body configuration. These metal backing plates are specific to WWII jeeps and not suitable for later civilian models such as CJ-2A or CJ-3A. Canvas cover and padding material are not included and must be ordered separately.
