Reproduction battery bracket that secures the battery to the frame. This bracket was used on Ford GPW jeeps built from mid-1942 onwards with the standard Ford GPW frame design. Essential component for correct and safe mounting of the 6V battery.

Installation notes
Mounting to frame with original Ford tapered bolts 5/16-24NF, 3/4 inch long. The bracket forms the base upon which the battery tray rests. Check before installation that your Ford GPW has the standard GPW frame design.

Specific to Ford GPW with standard GPW frame (from mid-1942 onwards). Early 1942 Ford GPW jeeps built on Willys frames use the Willys MB battery bracket. The GPW and MB brackets are not interchangeable due to differences in frame construction.
