Suitable for Willys MB from serial number 143507, Ford GPW late production and Hotchkiss M201. On earlier jeeps the round silencer was used (up to MB #143507). Mounting on passenger side of chassis.
Installation notes
The silencer is mounted with two brackets to the chassis: front bracket and rear bracket. Early production used a carriage bolt for the front mounting, later replaced by a bolt with welded bracket to the hat channel. Fit with correct rubber mountings and clamps.
Compatibility
NOT suitable for early MB/GPW with round silencer (MB up to #143507). NOT suitable for 'deep mud' systems where the silencer is mounted beneath the rear deck. This standard oval silencer is specific to the regular side exhaust system.
