★ Please note: this siren requires a 24 volt electrical system. WWII jeeps (MB/GPW) and lorries (CCKW/WC) had 6V systems and are not compatible without voltage converter.
Application
This 24V siren is suitable for post-WWII military vehicles equipped with 24 volt electrical systems, such as M38, M38A1, M151, M37 and later M-series vehicles. NOT suitable for WWII vehicles (Willys MB, Ford GPW, GMC CCKW, Dodge WC) without 12V-to-24V converter.
Installation notes
Mounting requires attachment with screws or clamp bracket (not included). Electrical connection directly to 24V battery/system via switch. Ensure correct voltage — connection to 6V or 12V system will damage the siren.
Compatibility
ONLY for 24V systems. Willys MB, Ford GPW, Hotchkiss M201 (early), GMC CCKW, Dodge WC-series had 6V — not compatible. M38A1, M151, M37 and later M-series had 24V — compatible.
