For L-134 Go Devil engine with chain drive

L-134 Go Devil (chain-drive)

Vroege WWII jeeps 1941-1945

Features

  • Reconditioned and technically inspected
  • For L-134 engine with chain-driven camshaft
  • Original WWII type chain-drive version
  • Helical gear drive for oil pump
  • Complete with drive gear

★ This reconditioned oil pump is correct for authenticity-focused restorations of WWII military jeeps. Note: only suitable for engines with chain-driven camshaft — not compatible with later engines with gear-drive.

Application

Willys MB (1941-1945), Ford GPW (1941-1945), and early Willys CJ-2A (1946) with original L-134 engine and chain-driven camshaft. Also suitable for Hotchkiss M201 with chain-drive engine.

Compatibility

CRITICAL DIFFERENCE: This oil pump is ONLY for engines with chain-drive camshaft. NOT compatible with later engines with gear-drive such as CJ-3A, CJ-3B, M38 and late CJ-2A. The camshaft rotates in opposite directions between both systems. Check before fitting whether your engine has chain-drive or gear-drive.

Historical context

All original WWII Willys MB and Ford GPW jeeps were built with L-134 engines with chain-drive. The gear-drive was only introduced after the war by Willys-Overland for the civilian models.
