★ Originally these clamps were used with a 5/16"-18NC x 2-1/2" round head machine screw, square nut and split washer. Two clamps required per vehicle.
Application
Suitable for Willys MB, Ford GPW and Hotchkiss M201 fitted with canister-type oil filter on the L-134 Go Devil engine. The clamps attach to the oil filter bracket mounted on the cylinder head.
Installation notes
Install with 5/16"-18NC x 2-1/2" round head machine screw, square nut (or hex nut) and split washer. Ensure screws are not too long — these may contact the bracket mounting bolts. Do not over-tighten to prevent distortion.
Compatibility
For canister-type oil filters only, such as the Fram Military Junior. Not suitable for modern spin-on filters.
