L-134 engine with chain drive

Mounting

Cylinder head, passenger side

Bracket + mounting bolts and washers

Features

  • Reproduction to original WOA1247 specification
  • Reinforced construction against cracking

★ High-quality reproduction of this frequently missing or damaged bracket. Original brackets regularly show cracks due to material fatigue.

Installation notes

The bracket mounts to the pre-drilled threaded holes in the cylinder head on the passenger side. The oil filter canister is then secured to the bracket with the supplied bolts. Note: a rubber grommet may be required (not included, available separately).

Compatibility

Only for L-134 engines with chain drive. NOT suitable for F-134 engines or later L-134 variants with gear drive. Check your camshaft drive type before ordering.

Historical context

The oil filter canister bracket was originally fitted to all military Willys MB and Ford GPW jeeps with the L-134 engine. Due to vibration and stress, original brackets are often cracked or completely missing on restored vehicles.
