BEARING CONNECTING ROD 050 (SET OF 4)
Connecting rod bearings 0.050" (1.27 mm) undersize
Set of 4 bearings for 134 ci engine
Complete set of connecting rod bearings for engine overhaul of the Willys 134 ci L-head and F-head engines. These bearings are 0.050" (1.27 mm) undersize and are used during overhaul when the crankshaft journal diameter has been reduced by regrinding.

Features
- 050" (1.27 mm) undersize for reground crankshaft journal
- Complete for all four cylinders
- Suitable for both L-head (flathead) and F-head engines
- Internal diameter: Ø 47.970 mm
- Replacement part for engine overhaul
★ Precision bearings for complete engine overhaul of 134 ci engines. Suitable for both L-head (Go Devil) and F-head (Hurricane) versions.
Application
For 134 ci four-cylinder engines with crankshaft journal 0.050" (1.27 mm) undersize due to regrinding. Fits both L-134 'Go Devil' flathead engines and F-134 'Hurricane' overhead valve engines.
Installation notes
Connecting rod nut torque: 6.9 to 7.6 m/kg (approx. 50-55 lbf-ft). Note the correct offset of the connecting rods — cylinders 1 and 3 have identical rods, cylinders 2 and 4 likewise. The oil squirt hole in the upper eye must point AWAY from the camshaft. Check before fitting that the crankshaft journal is exactly 0.050" undersize. Connecting rods should be balanced within 1 gramme for optimal engine running.
Compatibility
ONLY for engines where the crankshaft journal has been ground 0.050" (1.27 mm) undersize. Not for standard size crankshaft (use WOA7233). For other undersizes: 0.010" → WOA7234, 0.020" → WOA7235, 0.030" → WOA7236, 0.040" → WOA7237. Suitable for both chain-driven (early MB/GPW) and gear-driven (late CJ/M38) camshaft versions.
Historical context
The Willys 134 ci engine was the beating heart of the WWII jeep and remained in production until the early 1970s. Undersize connecting rod bearings enabled complete overhaul — a crucial element of maintenance that kept these engines operational for decades.
