Fits all vehicles with Dana 18 transfer case (also known as Spicer 18 or Brown-Lipe). Suitable for both the front output (to front propshaft) and rear output (to propeller shaft). 2 pieces required per vehicle.
Installation notes
The felt seal is fitted on the outside of the transfer case, between the output yoke and the bearing cap housing. The oil seal sits behind (inside) the felt seal. During assembly: fit felt seal first, then oil seal, then mount yoke. Always check the yoke for grooves — a worn yoke with a groove will continue to leak even with new seals.
Compatibility
Universal for Dana 18 transfer case — fits MB, GPW, CJ-2A, CJ-3A, CJ-3B, M38, M38A1, CJ-5 (until 1971), Willys Truck and Station Wagon. Does NOT fit Dana 20 transfer case (which has different dimensions).
