Application
For Willys MB and Ford GPW (1941-1945). Later frames (from MB serial number 193040 onwards) are fitted with tyre pump brackets on the underside.
Installation notes
Mounting via 4 studs in the top-hat section of the rear panel with J-hooks. The hinge axis is fixed in cups on the wheelarches with L-brackets. The folded-down frame is secured with spring clips on the wheelarches. Canvas is attached with self-tapping screws to the upper edge.
Compatibility
MB and GPW frames differ slightly in mounting points. This frame follows the MB specification but also fits Ford GPW. Note: CJ-2A uses a slightly wider frame and M38/M38A1 frames are 35.5 inches wide — these are not interchangeable.
