Features
- Pressed profile to original design

- Suitable for body restorations
★ Reproduction of the original reinforcement profile, pressed from sheet steel for exact fit and structural strength.
Installation notes
The profile is welded to the underside of the front floor plate, directly behind the gearbox hump. Fitting requires plug welding through the pre-drilled holes. Before welding, check that the floor plate is flat — a warped floor can distort the profile. In case of severe floor damage, additional reinforcement may be required.
Compatibility
This is the rear (rearmost positioned) reinforcement profile of the front floor plate. Not to be confused with the front hat channels that run under the pedal area. Before ordering, check whether your body has the standard ACM configuration — early Willys MB bodies (before mid-1942) had a different configuration.
Historical context
The hat channel profiles were pressed from sheet steel during WW2 and welded to the underside of the body floor to ensure structural integrity, particularly during off-road use and when mounting the body to the frame.
