Ford GPW jeeps 1941-1945. These handles were fitted to both sides of the body, directly behind the doors, and at the rear corners. Applicable to both early and late production GPW vehicles.
Installation notes
Installation with 5/16"-18 NC x 5/8" to 1" hexagon head bolts, lockwashers and nuts. Handles are mounted from the outside through the body panel; ensure that the rear mounting points have sufficient clearance for nuts on the inside (near tool box). Start with the rear bolt to guarantee correct positioning.
Compatibility
Specific to Ford GPW with F marking. Willys MB used handles without F marking (unmarked or W-marked). During the war, two types were produced: early thin (.135" thick) and late thick (.198" thick) on the flat mounting flange. This concerns the thicker late production version. Does not fit civilian CJ models without modification.
