Installation notes

The wooden blocks are fixed with screws to the underside of the bonnet. They rest on the top of the windscreen when the bonnet is closed. Paint in OD-3 (Olive Drab) for original finish.

Compatibility

Suitable for vehicles with wooden hood blocks. Please note: early vehicles (before mid-1943) had rubber versions with different dimensions and fixing method. Different variants were used during the production period: rubber (early 1942), wood (mid-1943), wood with fabric insert (late 1943-1945).

Historical context

From mid-1943, wooden support blocks replaced the earlier rubber version. Later in production, an improved version with fabric insert (welting) was introduced as the standard type (A-4683).
