Willys MB (1941-1945), Ford GPW (1941-1945), CJ-2A (1945-1949), CJ-3A (1948-1953), M38 (1950-1952), CJ-3B (1953). Only for vehicles fitted with 9" drum brakes on the front axle.
Installation notes
2 wheel cylinders required per vehicle (left and right). Ensure brake shoes are correctly adjusted with the eccentrics before fitting the new cylinder. After installation: bleed the brake system according to specifications. Use glycol-based brake fluid (DOT 3 or DOT 4).
Compatibility
Does NOT fit vehicles with 10" or 11" brakes. M38A1 and later CJ-3B/CJ-5/CJ-6 models (from 1952-1953) use different wheel cylinders. Rear wheel cylinders have smaller bore (3/4") — not interchangeable. Check that your vehicle has 9" drum brakes.
