Applicable to front wheel cylinders of CJ-2A (1945-1949), CJ-3A (1948-1953), M38 (1950-1952) and CJ-3B with 9 inch drum brakes at the front. Note: only suitable for vehicles with 1 inch (25.4mm) bore wheel cylinders.
Installation notes
Remove the old wheel cylinder, thoroughly clean the bore and inspect for scoring or damage. Replace the complete cylinder if deeply scored. Fit new cups using silicone brake fluid as assembly aid. Bleed the brake system thoroughly after rebuilding.
Compatibility
Note: front wheel cylinders have 1 inch bore, rear wheel cylinders have 3/4 inch bore. Use WO-A6133 for rear wheel cylinders. Not suitable for vehicles with 10" brakes or later brake servo systems.
