Suitable for Bantam T3 and Willys MBT 1/4-ton cargo trailers from WWII (1942-1945). American Bantam produced approximately 73,500 T3 trailers, Willys-Overland approximately 60,000 MBT examples. Also suitable for trailers from other WWII manufacturers who used the standardised design (Converto, Fruehauf, Transportation Equipment, etc.).
Installation notes
This panel is welded to the chassis frame and adjacent body panels. Check all dimensions and mounting points before installation. In original construction, panels were welded and partly riveted. Consult TM-10-1281/1230 for original construction details.
Compatibility
Fits WWII military trailers Bantam T3 and Willys MBT. Not suitable for post-war civilian Bantam T3-C trailers (these have modified rear with tailgate reinforcements and other details). Not compatible with later M100 (1950s) or M416 (Vietnam-era) trailers.
