  • Complete set of clips for full trailer wiring
  • Various clip sizes for frame and body
  • Includes P-clips for front mounting
  • U-shaped clips for underside of chassis
  • Rubber grommets included where required

★ Essential for correct mounting of trailer wiring. Ensures a neat finish and protects cables against chafing and damage.

Application

Suitable for mounting wiring cables on 1/4 ton military trailers. Used in combination with trailer wiring kit (taped or braided version). The clips are fitted to pre-drilled holes in the frame and on the body.

Installation notes

The set contains various clip sizes: P-clips for mounting at the front of the trailer, U-shaped clips in various sizes for mounting under the chassis along the frame and over the rear crossmember. Install rubber grommets in the frame holes where the wiring passes through to prevent chafing. Fit clips loosely first, route wiring, then tighten definitively.

Compatibility

This clip set is used with both taped wiring (Willys MBT) and braided wiring (Bantam T-3). The number and type of clips is specific to trailer applications and differs from jeep wiring clips.

Historical context

The 1/4 ton trailers were produced during WWII by Willys-Overland (MBT) and American Bantam (T-3) to transport supplies behind the MB and GPW jeeps. The wiring was expertly routed along the frame with metal clips, with rubber grommets for protection.
