Engine oil line complete

For L-134 engine with canister oil filter

Complete set of oil lines for lubricating oil circulation between engine block and oil filter canister. These flexible lines with machined fittings ensure reliable oil supply from the oil gallery at the front of the engine block to the top of the filter canister.

Material

Rubber hose with metal fittings

Finish

Black lacquered

Engine type

L-134 Go Devil

Part no.

WOA1197

Features

  • Complete with fitted couplings
  • Correct lengths according to original specification
  • Machined ends for leak-free connection
  • Black lacquered finish
  • Suitable for bypass filtration system

★ Replica to original specification for reliable oil circulation on L-head engines.

Installation notes

The long line (±22 inches) runs from the oil gallery at the front of the block (near the fuel pump) to the top of the filter canister. The shorter outlet line connects the bottom of the canister to the timing cover. For fitting to the gallery port, the fuel pump must be removed. Rotate the crankshaft so that the fuel pump eccentric is not at its highest point for easier pump reinstallation.

Compatibility

Only suitable for vehicles with L-134 L-head engine and canister-style oil filter mounted on the cylinder head. Not suitable for F-134 engine (different line configuration). Note: some early vehicles did not have an oil filter as standard equipment.

Historical context

The bypass filtration system with canister filter was an improvement over non-filtered systems. Only a small percentage of the oil passes through the filter, but this significantly extends bearing life compared to unfiltered circulation.
