The accelerator pedal mounts on the hinge (hinge 650482) on the driver's side. The pedal rod runs through a rubber grommet in the floorboard to the accelerator linkage on the engine. Check the condition of hinge, spring and grommet during fitting.
Compatibility
Fits all jeeps with L-134 Go Devil engine, both with chain drive (MB/GPW/M201/early CJ-2A) and gear drive (late CJ-2A/CJ-3A/M38/CJ-3B). Not suitable for later models with F-134 Hurricane engine (M38A1, late CJ-3B, CJ-5) - these use a different pedal design.
