Features

★ Replacement version for the original crossover tube. Note: this component fits the flat-head L-134 engine as fitted in Willys MB and Ford GPW.
Installation notes
The tube is bolted with bracket to the top of the engine block. The spark plug lead from cylinder 1 runs through the hole beneath the tube. Connect the tube with rubber hoses to both the air cleaner housing and the carburettor air horn. Use suitable hose clamps for an airtight connection.
Compatibility
This tube is for the military MB/GPW version with air cleaner mounted on the wing. Not suitable for later civilian models with different air cleaner positioning. Note the difference between early 'pancake' filters (1941-1942) and late Oakes filters (1942-1945) — this tube is for the late version.
Historical context
Part of the oil bath air cleaner system that protected the robust Go Devil engine against dust and sand during WWII operations in North Africa, Europe and the Pacific.
