CONNECTOR FUEL ELBOW FUEL PUMP
HIGH QUALITY
Fuel Connector Elbow Fuel Pump
90° brass fitting for mechanical fuel pump
Brass 90° elbow fitting for connecting the fuel line to the mechanical fuel pump. This component connects the steel fuel line to the fuel pump and ensures a leak-free coupling between the 1/8" NPT thread of the pump and the 5/16" inverted flare of the fuel line.

Features
- Solid brass construction
- 90° angle for optimal line routing
- 1/8" NPT male thread (pump side)
- 5/16" inverted flare female connection (line side)
- Suitable for inverted flare fuel and brake lines
★ Essential connector for correct mounting of the steel fuel line to the mechanical fuel pump. High-quality brass for durability and corrosion resistance.
Application
Fits: Willys MB (1941-1945), Ford GPW (1941-1945), Hotchkiss M201 (1952-1962), CJ-2A (1945-1949), CJ-3A (1949-1953), CJ-3B (1953-1968), M38 (1950-1952), M38A1 (1952-1971). This fitting is used on all vehicles with the mechanical AC-style fuel pump with 1/8" NPT connections.
Installation notes
Screw the 1/8" NPT side into the fuel pump (outlet or inlet port, depending on configuration). Note: NPT is tapered thread and must be tightened hand-tight plus 1 to 1.5 turns. Do not use excessive force to prevent breakage. The 90° angle must be positioned so that the fuel line with inverted flare nut can be connected correctly without torsion or tension on the line.
Compatibility
PLEASE NOTE: This fitting has 1/8" NPT thread and fits standard mechanical fuel pumps for the Willys L-head 134ci Go Devil engine. Not compatible with modern electric fuel pumps or pumps with other thread sizes. When replacing the original fuel pump: check that the new pump has 1/8" NPT connections (some aftermarket pumps have 1/4" NPT). For Solex carburettors on M201: note that the banjo fitting on the carburettor side has a different configuration than on Carter carburettors.
Historical context
The mechanical fuel pumps on WWII Jeeps and early civilian Willys models used standard 1/8" NPT connections with brass 90° fittings for coupling with the inverted flare steel fuel and oil lines. This robust system ensured reliable fuel delivery under all conditions, from the Normandy beaches to the Battle of the Bulge.
