The exhaust manifold shares mounting points with the inlet manifold. Observe correct torque settings according to technical manual — over-tightening may distort the thin manifold. Outer and inner bolts have different torque specifications. Preferably use brass nuts to prevent seizing due to heat.
Compatibility
This manifold is designed for the L-134 flathead engine. Not suitable for the later F-134 overhead valve engine (CJ-3B, late M38A1) which requires a different manifold configuration. Verify that your vehicle has the L-134 engine before ordering.
