Reproduction of the ignition switch as fitted to Willys MB from January 1943 (serial number 202023) until end of production. This lever design replaced the earlier key switch. Mounted in the dashboard and used together with the floor starter.

Willys MB from serial number 202023 (January 1943) until end of production in 1945. This switch replaced the earlier key switch (A-2517) which was used from November 1941 to January 1943.

The switch is mounted in the dashboard with the threaded bezel. Works together with the floor starter — the switch activates the ignition, the starter is operated with a foot switch on the floor. Connection via screw terminals at the rear.
Compatibility
Note: Willys MB used a smooth bezel, Ford GPW used a knurled bezel — this is a visible difference between both types. Early MBs (up to serial number 202023) had a key switch instead of this toggle design.
