Suitable for late production Ford GPW jeeps (after June 1942). Early Ford GPW vehicles from start of production until June 1942 used a different type of ammeter with 'paint can lid' bezel.
Installation notes
The ammeter is mounted in the instrument panel between the other gauges. Connect according to the original 6-volt wiring diagram. Check polarity: positive deflection indicates battery charging, negative deflection indicates discharge.
Compatibility
ONLY for late Ford GPW (after June 1942). Not suitable for early Ford GPW with 'paint can lid' type gauges (GPW10850A). Differs from Willys MB ammeters which did not carry F marking. Note: this is specifically the GPW-10850B version with small F marking.
