Suitable for jeeps with 24V electrical system. Please note: M38 (1950-1952) and M38A1 (1952-1971) had 24V as standard. CJ-2A originally had 6V — this bulb is only suitable for CJ-2As that have been converted to 24V.
Installation notes
Check before fitting that your vehicle has a 24V system. With 6V or 12V systems the bulb will blow. The BAY15d base has two contact points at different heights — ensure correct positioning in the socket.
Compatibility
NOT compatible with original 6V CJ-2A, MB or GPW without conversion. NOT compatible with 12V systems. Only for 24V installations as standard on M38 and M38A1, or for vehicles converted to 24V.
