Note: this gear only fits the reinforced 31mm intermediate shaft. The earlier M201, MB and GPW used a 19mm (3/4") shaft with different gear. Always check the diameter of your intermediate shaft before ordering. Installation requires complete disassembly of the transfer case.
Compatibility
ONLY for Dana 18 transfer case with 31mm intermediate shaft. NOT compatible with the early 19mm (3/4") shaft as used in early MB, GPW and early M201 (up to chassis number ±1055). Also NOT compatible with the later 28mm (1-1/8") and 32mm (1-1/4") shafts of civilian CJ models.
