The bolt passes through the chassis bracket and through the eye of the torque reaction spring. Ensure correct positioning of the nut. Grease the bolt before installation. Check the thread — the pivot bolts all have right-hand thread (the shackles themselves have left-hand thread at some positions).
Compatibility
Note: this is the SHORT version (A-6074) for the front left position. For other positions, the LONG version (A-6075) may be required. Only for vehicles with torque reaction spring system (late production MB/GPW). Not all vehicles had this system — check whether your vehicle has the 2-piece helper spring.
