Shift Rail Cap 2nd/3rd Gear T84 Transmission

Cover cap for shift rail in Warner T84 gearbox

Cover cap for the shift rail of 2nd and 3rd gear in the T84 transmission. This small but essential part seals the opening in the transmission case where the shift rail passes through and prevents oil leakage at the front of the gearbox.

★ Oil leaks at the front of a T84 transmission are often not caused by the main drive gear bearing, but rather by a defective or missing cap on the 2nd/3rd shift rail. Check and replace this cap during overhaul or when oil leakage is detected.
