Oil seal mainshaft rear T84 transmission

For late T84 'H-model' gearbox with increased oil capacity

Rubber lip seal for the rear of the mainshaft of the T84 gearbox. This seal was introduced on late production T84 transmissions with increased oil capacity, identifiable by the raised 'H' marking on the case near the filler plug. Prevents oil leakage between transmission and transfer case.

Application

T84 transmission late model (H-version)

Vehicles

Willys MB, Ford GPW (late production '44-'45)

Position

Mainshaft rear, between transmission and transfer case

Type

Rubber lip seal (oil seal)

Features

  • Specific to late T84 transmissions with integrated oil seal Replaces the earlier oil slinger washer construction Mounts in the transmission case at the rear Prevents oil leakage to the transfer case Compatible with modified spacer washer A-15427

★ Essential component for late production T84 transmissions — identify your transmission by the raised 'H' marking on the case. Early T84 models without this marking do not use this component.
