Complete synchroniser assembly for the T84 gearbox as fitted to Willys MB and Ford GPW (1941-1945). Synchronises second and third gear for smooth shifting whilst driving. Contains all components: synchronizer hub, sleeve, brass blocking rings, shifter plates and springs. One synchroniser required per vehicle.

★ The T84 gearbox has synchronisation on 2nd and 3rd gear only — shifting into 1st gear is only possible when stationary. Worn blocking rings cause heavy gear changes and bronze swarf in the transmission oil. During fitting, observe correct adjustment of mainshaft endplay (0.006-0.008 inch) for optimal operation.

Mounting
- 1. Remove snap ring from mainshaft and slide synchronizer assembly off 2. Fit blocking ring onto 2nd gear cone 3. Slide synchronizer hub onto mainshaft with long side facing forward 4. Place second blocking ring in synchronizer and install main drive gear 5. Secure with snap ring and check smooth operation of shifter sleeve
