Combat wheel 16 inch (split, 2-piece)
Split-type military steel wheel for WWII vehicles
Reproduction of the original 2-piece combat wheel as used on later Willys MB and Ford GPW vehicles from serial number MB120700 onwards. The wheel consists of two halves assembled with eight bolts, designed for rapid wheel changing in wartime conditions.

Features
- 16 inch diameter, suitable for military tyres with inner tube
- 8 wheel bolts connect both wheel halves
- Originally used from late 1942 (MB120700+)
- Requires rim strip (flap) and inner tube for fitting
- ⚠️ WARNING: NEVER use a pneumatic impact wrench for tightening the wheel bolts
- Torque for wheel bolts manual: 60-70 ft-lb (81-95 Nm), tighten in cross pattern
- 5 x 5.5 inch bolt pattern for mounting on hub
- Torque for wheel nuts (wheel-to-hub): 60-70 ft-lb according to TM specifications

★ Split-type combat wheels require specialised knowledge and caution during fitting. Always assemble the wheel halves manually with a calibrated torque wrench following the cross-pattern tightening method as described in TM 9-1803B. NEVER use pneumatic tools — risk of life-threatening situations.
