Suitable for CJ-2A (1945-1949), CJ-3A (1949-1953) and CJ-3B (1953-1964) with original Ross steering box housing. Used at the side cover providing access to the sector shaft of the steering box.
Installation notes
Fit with new gasket without using gasket sealant unless required for additional security. Tighten cover bolts in a cross pattern to a torque of 20 ft-lbs (27 Nm). Check steering oil level after fitting and top up if necessary with the specified 50:50 mixture of 140w and 90w oil via the grease nipple.

Specific to Ross steering box housing with 7/8" sector shaft as used on CJ-2A, CJ-3A and CJ-3B models. Not compatible with later steering boxes with 15/16" or 1" sector shaft as fitted to certain CJ-5/CJ-6 with V6 engine or 4WD lorries.
