The 25/64" (10mm) opening fits the 3/8" bolt of the starter bracket. The 11/32" (8.75mm) opening fits the 5/16" bolt of the rear generator mounting or engine mount. Fit with star washers on clean, unpainted surfaces for optimal electrical contact.
Compatibility
This bond strap (#7) was introduced after Willys serial number 288,835 as part of the radio suppression system. Not all early MB/GPW jeeps had this strap fitted from the factory — check whether your vehicle was originally equipped with radio suppression straps.
