Suitable for WWII jeeps with cable-operated clutch control and T84 gearbox (1941-1945). Also applicable to Hotchkiss M201. The cable connects the control lever on the chassis to the clutch fork in the gearbox.
Installation notes
The cable is attached at one end with a ball socket yoke to the control lever, at the other end is a ball-shaped terminal that fits into the slot of the clutch fork. Installation with engine and gearbox in the jeep is possible via the inspection cover in the gearbox housing. Allow approx. 12-15mm free play at the clutch pedal before the release bearing contacts the pressure plate fingers. Correct adjustment prevents wear to the release bearing.
Compatibility
ONLY for T84 gearbox. NOT suitable for T90 gearbox (later model uses different cable ref. 948726/807488). Note: ball socket yoke (ref. 632177) and clevis pin (ref. 339043) are supplied separately and are required for complete installation.
