Specific to early CJ-2A models from 1945-1946. The tool indents on the driver's side are a feature only found on the very first CJ-2As - later production years did not have these. Suitable for authentic restorations of early civilian Jeeps.
Installation notes
Body is supplied with pre-drilled mounting holes for frame attachment. Some holes for pedals and toeboard still need to be drilled. Fuel tank brackets and seat brackets are not included and must be reused or purchased separately.
Compatibility
ONLY for early CJ-2A (1945-1946). Not suitable for later CJ-2A production years without tool indents. The body fits the standard 80" wheelbase CJ-2A frame. Note: CJ-2A and CJ-3A bodies have different wheelhouse lengths (34" vs 32") - this early CJ-2A body has the longer 34" wheelhouses.
