Application

Specifically for early Willys MB bodies produced between 1941 and early 1943 (up to approximately serial number MB-160000). The ACM1 variant is characterised by the rounded fuel tank compartment on the front floor. Note: late MB and Ford GPW use ACM2 variant with different configuration.

Installation notes

Remove old floor and hat channels completely. Position and align new floor with chassis mountings. Place hat channels under front floor, align with chassis crossmembers. Fix according to original method: spot welding or riveting. Important: installation requires skilled welding work — check for distortion during welding.

Compatibility

ONLY suitable for Willys MB ACM1-type bodies (early variant). NOT suitable for: late Willys MB with ACM2 floor, Ford GPW (different fuel tank bracket), Hotchkiss M201 (post-war modifications). Check your chassis number and body type before ordering.

Historical context

The ACM1 floor configuration was used in early Willys MB production from 1941 to mid-1943, with the characteristic rounded fuel tank compartment. From November 1943, production switched to the ACM2 'composite' standard also used by Ford.
