Compatibility

Exclusively for Dana 18 transfer case. NOT suitable for Dana 20, Dana 300 or other transfer cases. The Dana 18 was used from 1941 until the early 1970s on various Willys and Jeep models. Check your transfer case type before ordering.

Historical context

The Dana 18 (also called Spicer 18 or Brown-Lipe) was the standard transfer case for military and civilian Willys Jeeps from 1941 until the early 1970s. This robust two-speed transfer case with two shift levers was an essential component of the four-wheel drive system of the legendary Jeep.
