This holder is mounted on the inner frame rail on the driver's side, beneath the cab. Suitable for Dodge WC series vehicles with 6 volt electrical system (1/2 ton and 3/4 ton models). Not for 12 volt radio versions which had a battery box on the right running board.
Installation notes
Attach the holder to the inner frame rail using the provided bolt holes. Ensure the battery is firmly secured and cannot move whilst driving. Check the earth connection to the frame.
Compatibility
Please note: for 6V vehicles only. Dodge WC with 12V radio system (including WC-8, WC-16, WC-25, WC-53, WC-56, WC-57, WC-58) had a battery box mounted on the right running board and use a different mounting.
