Steering tie rod tube for the left-hand side of the steering system. This adjustable tube connects the steering knuckles to the bellcrank and features internal threads at both ends for fitting the tie rod ends. Length approximately 17-1/4 inches (44 cm).

Suitable for Willys/Jeep CJ-2A (1946-1949), CJ-3A (1949-1953), CJ-3B (1953-1964), CJ-5 (1955-1971), CJ-6 (1955-1971) and Willys M38 (1950-1952). Fits on the left-hand side of the vehicle between bellcrank and left steering knuckle.
Installation notes
Tie rod ends must be screwed in at both sides: right-hand thread on the inside (bellcrank), left-hand thread on the outside (steering knuckle). After fitting, wheel alignment must be adjusted by rotating the tube. Do not forget to fit the clamps before mounting the tie rod ends.
Compatibility
Please note: this is NOT the tube for Willys MB or Ford GPW (WWII models). Different dimensions are required for MB/GPW. The passenger side (right) has a different length (18-3/4") and is sold separately (part number 642059). Later CJ-5 models (from 1972 onwards) may require different dimensions.
