Fits vehicles with Autolite IAD-type distributor and L-134 or F-134 engine. IAD distributors are recognisable by their long, riveted mounting clips for the distributor cap and large rotor. Always check the data plate on your distributor (three letters followed by four digits, e.g. IAD-4008 or IAD-4041) to determine the correct type.

Remove the distributor cap and check that the old rotor fits properly before replacing it. Ensure the rotor does not strike the towers of the distributor cap — poor fit can cause spark loss. The rotor must fit firmly on the distributor shaft without play. When fitting, ensure the distributor cap clicks securely into place.
Compatibility
ONLY for IAD-type distributors with large rotor. NOT suitable for IAT or IAY-type distributors which use a smaller rotor (923392). IAD distributors have riveted clips and a large rotor; IAY distributors have bolted clips and a small rotor. Check your distributor type before ordering.
