Installation notes
Two seals required per winch. Fit the seal in the bearing retainer on the worm shaft. When replacing, check the winch oil level — the worm shaft and part of the driven gear must be below the oil level (SAE 90 gear oil). Replace both seals simultaneously for optimal results.
Compatibility
Only for Braden MU, MU-2, LU-2 and LU-4 winches. Not compatible with other winch types. Check which winch is fitted to your vehicle — most Dodge WC and M37 lorries had MU-2 winches, later Power Wagons often LU-4. The seal fits all mentioned variants.
