★ These waterproof spark plugs are essential for proper operation of the 24V shielded ignition system. Please note: original spark plugs such as Autolite 2243 and 2245 are no longer in production — this is a replacement.

The waterproof ignition cable is fixed to the spark plug by thread. Ensure the gasket is correctly fitted for waterproof seal. Check that the ventilation/fording system of the distributor is intact to prevent overheating.
Compatibility
Exclusively for 24V waterproof ignition systems. NOT compatible with standard 6V or 12V systems. When using adapter kits, modern standard spark plugs can be used as a more economical replacement.
