Suitable for Dodge WC 3/4 ton 4x4 lorries (1942-1945) and Dodge WC 1-1/2 ton 6x6 lorries (1943-1945). Note: early WC 1/2 ton lorries (1940-1942) used a different type of filter, and late production WC lorries (late 1944-1945) sometimes had an internal filter in the fuel tank instead of an external filter.
Installation notes
Filter is mounted in the fuel line between tank and fuel pump, usually on the bulkhead or frame. The bowl is secured with a central bolt — when dismantling, carefully lower the bowl to avoid damaging the gasket. Filter element is fragile and consists of discs on two thin rods — handle carefully when cleaning or replacing.
Compatibility
Not compatible with early WC 1/2 ton lorries (these use a filter with cast iron bowl instead of pressed steel). Not all late WC lorries (1944-1945) had an external filter — some examples received an internal filter in the fuel tank. Check your vehicle before ordering.
