Installation notes

The countershaft is installed through the cluster gear assembly and locked with a lock plate. During assembly, first fit the cluster gear assembly with needle bushings and felt rings, use a dummy shaft to hold bearings in position during assembly, then drive in the final countershaft from the rear whilst the dummy shaft comes out. Ensure correct alignment of woodruff key and thrust washers.

Compatibility

Exclusively suitable for 4-speed transmissions in Dodge WC/WD/WF-series lorries. NOT compatible with 3-speed transmissions or later transmission types. Note serial numbers — this part is only for early production up to the stated serial numbers. Late production received different part numbers.
