★ Correct reproduction of the early King Bee long mirror arm for open cab Dodge WC lorries. Essential component for authentic restorations of weapon carriers and early 3/4-ton versions.

Application

For Dodge WC-series open cab lorries, including WC-51, WC-52, WC-56, WC-57, WC-58, WC-62, WC-63 and other 3/4-ton weapon carriers. Also suitable for some early 1/2-ton open cab models (WC-3, WC-4, WC-6, WC-7, WC-8, WC-13, WC-15, WC-16, WC-22, WC-23, WC-24, WC-25). Production period 1941-1945, particularly early T-211 and T-215 series.

Installation notes

The arm is mounted to the door hinge or body side using a mounting bracket (sold separately). Note: for closed cab lorries a shorter King Bee arm was used. Check your original mounting and fixing points before ordering. The telescopic function allows the mirror to be extended and retracted for optimal visibility.

Compatibility

NOT compatible with closed cab lorries — the short King Bee arm is required for these. NOT for late-type mirror arms (different mounting). This long arm is specific to open cab weapon carriers and some early 1/2-ton open cab models. 3/4-ton closed cab lorries used the short arm. Difference lies in arm length and mounting distance.

Historical context

King Bee mirror arms were produced in large quantities during WWII for military vehicles. The early version is characterised by a specific construction and finish used on the first generations of Dodge WC weapon carriers until early 1942, after which late-type arms were introduced.
