Install the cable first completely from dashboard to carburettor without cutting the outer sheath. Check the full movement of the choke (fully open to fully closed). Mark the correct length and remove the cable to cut the outer sheath – NEVER cut whilst the inner cable is still fitted. Attach to the top of the carburettor on the choke shaft.
Compatibility
Please note: choke cables are not universally interchangeable between all vehicle types. Check that the cable length is sufficient for the distance between your dashboard and carburettor. Early vs. late versions may differ in knob colour and engraving.
