This filler neck fits early Dodge WC series vehicles (WC-51, WC-52, WC-56, WC-57, WC-58, WC-62, WC-63 and other variants) from production circa 1941 to mid-1943. Early vehicles had a smaller filler neck compared to later production which switched from mid-1943 to a larger filler neck of 9 5/8 inches.
Installation notes
The filler neck is mounted in the fuel tank opening with a rubber seal. Check the condition of the seal and replace if necessary to prevent leaks. The filler neck is attached to the body with the corresponding mounting hardware.
Compatibility
NOT compatible with late Dodge WC vehicles (mid-1943 and later) which received the larger filler neck. Many early WC-51 vehicles were refurbished by Dodge in 1944-1945 and received the larger filler neck at that time - check which version is fitted to your vehicle. If in doubt: measure the diameter of the existing filler neck.
