Exclusively for L-134 engines with timing chain drive for the camshaft. This configuration was used in early production engines (1941-1945 MB/GPW and early CJ-2A until mid-1946). Later, these engines were converted to gear drive. Please note: not compatible with later gear-driven L-134 engines.

Check before installation that your engine actually has chain drive and not gear drive. Always replace together with the corresponding sprockets on crankshaft and camshaft for optimal performance. Set the timing carefully with a degree wheel.
