Crankcase ventilation tube early model

For Dodge WC T207 and early T211

Crankcase ventilation tube for early Dodge WC ½-ton 4x4 lorries from the first production series. This component provides ventilation of the crankcase and prevents pressure build-up in the engine block. Essential for correct engine ventilation and reliable operation.

Application

Early Dodge WC series

Engine

T207 and early T211

Material

Steel

Production period

1940-1941

Features

  • Specific for early WC engine blocks
  • Replacement part for original ventilation tube
  • Correct size for T207 and early T211 engines
  • Prevents pressure build-up in crankcase
  • Part of the crankcase ventilation system

★ Important note: early Dodge WC lorries used different ventilation systems depending on the engine series (T207, T211, T215). Always check the engine code on your vehicle for compatibility.

Application

Suitable for Dodge WC ½-ton 4x4 lorries built in 1940-1941 with T207 engine code (models WC-1 through WC-11) and early T211 engine code (models WC-12 through WC-20). The engine code is located on the left side of the engine block beneath the cylinder head. Production of the early WC series ran from autumn 1940 to May 1942.

Installation notes

The crankcase ventilation tube connects the engine block to the ventilation system. During fitting, ensure correct sealing and fastening. Early T207 and T211 engines had a different ventilation system than later T215 models — check the configuration of your specific engine.

Compatibility

NOT interchangeable with later T215 (WC-21 through WC-43) or ¾-ton WC engines. Early T207 and T211 series have different engine characteristics: T207 has 11-inch brake drums front and rear, civilian gauges, no wiring junction box on wing. T211 has 11-inch front and 14-inch rear brake drums. Early T211 with vacuum ignition uses a different system than later T211.

Historical context

The Dodge WC ½-ton series was produced in three variants between 1940-1942, with a total of nearly 80,000 units in more than 30 configurations. The T207 and early T211 engines formed the first two production series for these iconic military lorries.
